Joriki: Yoga Clothes with a Purpose
If you haven’t heard of the word Joriki, you may be asking yourself, “What does this mean and how do you pronounce it?”
It's a question we get a lot.
Joriki is the highest point of concentration you can reach. A oneness in the moment and a state of mind that allows you to be completely free and in control of yourself and your circumstances. It’s the strong, individual power that arises when your mind unifies in Zazen concentration (seated meditation).

We are Joriki, the brand, and we are so excited to connect with you! We are a high-end yoga apparel company located in Chicago, and our clothes are also manufactured right here in the Windy City.
Our founder, James Langer, created us out of his love for yoga, traveling, and giving back to those in need.
#Lookforwardgiveback is our mantra
Each yoga print that we have has its own special story. On our latest collection, for instance, we collaborated with Spanish-American artist, Domingo Zapata, who is well known for his panda and graffiti artwork.
Domingo's prints have made for some beautiful and unique yoga clothes.
Recently, we also collaborated with Nihiwatu Wellness & Yoga Director, Mary Tilson, to create the Sumba Warrior collection. We replicated the designs of Ikat textiles straight from the villages of Sumba Island, and a percentage of every piece sold is donated to The Sumba Foundation.
We could keep going on about the story behind each yoga print, but we don't want to keep you for too long! So, with that said, let's cut to the chase.
This marks our first official blog, and it's only going to get better! Each week, we promise to offer you fun and informative content. From improving your yoga practice, to tips on becoming happier and more grounded, to lifestyle must-reads, and to pieces on beautiful places to travel, we’ve got you covered.
Thank you so much for reading, and we hope that you enjoy the rest of your week! We look forward to connecting again soon.
Until then, namaste
